Tomas Urtasun

Principal & Digital Director

Tomas Urtasun is Partner and Digital Director for Regional Strategies Group (RSG) a high-performance public affairs and digital communications consultancy. 

As Digital Director, Tomas manages online communications for political, non-profit and corporate clients. Using cross-platform online strategies, Tomas is successful in helping clients distill very complex and sensitive issues by creating digestible visual content and reaching large (or small) audiences via high-level targeting capabilities. 

Recent Accomplishments: 

  • Digital Strategy - San Diego Unified School Bond Measure U - 2022

    Measure passed with 66% percent approval of San Diego Unified School District voters

  • Digital Campaign Strategist for SDSU West/ Measure G 

    The campaign succeeded in spite of a 3-1 spending defecit against Soccer City, authorizing the San Diego Mayor and City Council to sell the Mission Valley stadium site to San Diego State University. 

Tomas also serves as the Board Treasurer and Finance Chair for South San Diego’s largest employer and leading health provider, San Ysidro Health. Tomas has a BA from Gonzaga University and a MA from the University of San Diego. 

Tomas is also an investor and manager of a short term rental business focused on luxury short-term accommodations for modern travelers throughout Southern California and Colorado. 

Previously, Tomas was Vice-President with Focuscom Inc,. Director with IVC Media and worked internationally as a consultant with Enersud Clean Energy. He lives in Encinitas with his wife Mari Katherine, two children Mila and Kosta and dog Olive.


Daniel Reeves, Juniper Strategic Advisory

Strategic Partner

After more than 10 years working in real estate, planning, and public affairs, Daniel Reeves has formed an independent community and government affairs consulting firm, Juniper Strategic Advisory. As the President and CEO, Daniel is focused on bringing stakeholders together and identifying the nexus between the goals of the private sector, the needs of the community, and the path through local government to achieve project success.

Prior to forming Juniper Strategic Advisory, Daniel was the Senior Vice President for Economic Development & Public Policy at the Downtown San Diego Partnership, an influential economic development organization. In this position, he oversaw the Partnership’s extensive public policy efforts, and through various economic development programs, ensured that Downtown offers companies the ability to be successful by advancing programs that resolve challenges such as parking and mobility, and the attraction and retention of talent. Daniel led the Partnership’s efforts to support and realize Downtown’s large civic projects, supported the development community by navigating the entitlement and regulatory processes, and developed policy positions for the organization. He also focused on ensuring federal, state, and local decisions impacting Downtown reflected the needs and wants of the Downtown community.

Daniel serves as a mayoral appointee on the City of San Diego Mobility Board, serves on the Downtown Parking Management Group, sits on the boards of Lambda Alpha International – San Diego Chapter and San Diego Young Leaders, and is an active, Full Member of the Urban Land Institute.

Prior to joining the Partnership, Daniel worked as a project manager at Civic San Diego. Daniel graduated from business school at the University of San Diego in 2012 where he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree.

Meet Bailee Davis, our accomplished Executive Assistant known for her exceptional organizational skills and proactive approach.

With a wealth of experience supporting top-level executives in fast-paced environments, she adeptly manages calendars, coordinates meetings, and ensures seamless office operations. Her keen attention to detail, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities are the cornerstone of her success.

Outside of the office, Bailee enjoys hot yoga and baking. A professional committed to facilitating efficiency and driving success, Bailee is dedicated to delivering high-quality support in every aspect of her role.
